THERAPEUTIC FOREST SCHOOL LEADER – OUTDOOR MENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER – ADULT WOODCRAFT FOR WELLBEING PRACTITIONER – DIRECTOR
ABOUT ME
My name is Rach and I am a Therapeutic Forest School Leader and Certified Outdoor Mental Health Practitioner.
I am also a mum and have a dog called Stokes.
I love playing alongside children helping them discover, explore, investigate and design new things in the woods.
I love to make paints from mud, berries and seeds.
If you would like to learn how to light fires or use a tool safely then ask me and I will help you do it.
I find it tricky when lots of children talk to me at once – quiet voices work well for me. Loud noises can make me jump.
I will try to communicate in a way that works for you – I can use sign and pictures too if they are helpful. I love to use chimes as they are so relaxing, we find they help us all listen to each other.
I am allergic to grass pollen so might sneeze more in the summer months.
I love to relax at the end of a session by lying in a hammock!!
When not at Forest School I love to whizz down hills on my bike, play the beautiful game of cricket or listen to music.
