ABOUT ME

My name is Janet and I am a forest school leader.

I love playing games in the woods, building dens and getting creative with nature and love supporting both children and adults too.

I am particularly interested in birds and trees and enjoy spending time identifying them and getting to know them in the woods.

I also love using tools and cooking on the fire, so please ask for my help if this is something you enjoy or would also like to learn.

I find it tricky when there is lots of noise, or more than one voice talking at once.  I wear hearing aids to help my hearing.  I am easily distracted by noises and nature!  I enjoy keeping busy.

I use normal speech to communicate, but I am happy to learn to support you with communication in whatever way I can.  I can use pictures and items of reference.  I am happy to listen, to talk or to work or play in silence.

I have a gluten free diet, and I also cannot eat lentils, pumpkin or seeds as they make me feel unwell.
