ABOUT ME

My name is Jo and I work with young people in schools to improve their mental health. In school holidays, I am a Forest School Leader.

I think play is one of the most special things ever. I love to play alongside children and I am always interested in your stories and ideas. I love learning new things from you. I love playing games too, especially hiding games!

I love making art from the materials I find at Forest School and I like using my art to tell stories. If you would like to weave, plait, sew, make, paint, chalk or anything creative, I would love to join you!

Sometimes, I have to ask questions or check that I have understood what you have told me. I’m not so good remembering names either as I work with LOTS of children, so I may have to ask several times. If I don’t get your name right first time, please remind me!

I know some Makaton and use symbols to help how I communicate with you.

I am quietly spoken and a good listener. The only time I shout is if I am worried about your safety.
